The mage of twilight
Murder Is Kawaii
Re-dead Poe-etry Contest
No matter where I travel, I seem to run into these unsightly beings.
Traipsing about as if stuck between this dimension and the next...
From land to land, sea to sea, escape seems impossible.
But what's this-
A shiny, decorated shield?
I aim my newfound treasure at these creatures, and much to my amazement,
They have frozen, still-
Like the land they torment so…
Where do they come from? Is it some bit of vile magic?
l pretend I'm liberating these soulless lumps, but
I can't hide my elation as I sneak behind them and slice.
Some of them even leave me treasure, as if they are saying, "Thank you"...
I tip my Captain's Hat to them, in apology, and then something miraculous happens.
The remaining undead begin to spin around as if being manipulated by marionette strings!
This is an exciting turn of events indeed.
The Passing of the Poe Sisters
youngest of all.
Down the stairs, she did fall.
serene like the waves.
She found herself a watery grave.
unpredictable like fire,
Decapitated by piano wire.
And poor eldest Meg,
took her own life out of woe.
Met her sisters in the afterlife and they lived on as Poes.
But little does Meg know,
and boy does it stink,
she'll watch them all die again at the hand of Link.
The Moaning Monster
For I remember a time when I was just a boy,
When the darkness came, they came to destroy.
Before I can see them I hear that blood-curdling moan,
I know they are coming, they make themselves known.
Should I get to close or make steps too loud,
The monster with cover me, he becomes my shroud.
And as it attacks me and bites my neck,
I rage and I smash, he then lies there a wreck.
And at this moment they all wail and moan,
But no longer at me, they cry and they groan.
For their fallen brother is with them no more,
And they gather around, his corpse fades from the floor.
It is at this moment that I run in fear and flee,
Otherwise the rest of the redead will wreak vengeance on me.
Murder Is Kawaii
Under a bed of flowers you sleep
dreaming warm, soft, and sweet
breathed your last breath long ago
smothered by thin arms you'll never know
