I got to go to TWO anime conventions last month. One right after the other. I got to go to the Japan Expo: First Impact. It was in Santa Clara. It's based off the Japan Expo in France. It's not really an anime convention, but has enough related content to feel like one. I liked it. It was great. I saw Noriyuki Iwadare and his band perform. I also saw 1000say perform.
The following weekend I went to Sac Anime for the first time. It was in Sacramento. I got Sumi Shimamoto's autograph. I also finally got to see Eyeshine in concert.
Two days ago Sony said they would have some big announcements. Yesterday they dropped the megton. They announced a new revision for the PS Vita and a 64 GB memory card. But the real bomb was the PS Vita TV. It's basically a set top box for media streaming that can play PS Vita and PSone/PSP PSN games as well as act as a remote player for the PS3/PS4. It's made out of PS Vita components minus the screen, touch, camera, gyro and built in inputs. It has HDMI output. It's only $100.
I got Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix for the PS3 today. I also got Puppeteer for the PS3. Such great soundtracks.
