After some research, I've noticed that Riddick's eyeshine, which he claims he got from a prison doctor, is actually a trait that some Furyans posses. Has he blocked this out or was he just lying when he said that? I learned that the Necromongers killed every male Furyan, (except Riddick, obviously) so could even he be suscpectable to painful memories and want to block out his origins? That's certainly understandable...
I've been thinking about my own origins lately. Recently all of my missions have ended in disaster. I can't prove that it was my fault, but I can't disprove it either. I know just being in an area makes it more chaotic. Like, there's a higher chance of something crazy happening.
Chaos isn't necessarily bad, of course. All order or a complete lack of chaos would leave a world without art, music, or love. I can't argue that chaos does have a lot of negative tendencies, though...But everything that's happened recently wasn't a direct cause of me that I can tell.
The alarm! I never noticed any tripwire, or a magic barrier or anything. Maybe I didn't activate the alarm at the ice temple. Maybe my chaos caused it to go off accidentally, a fluke.
My powers haven't given be trouble since I was created, but like any magic, it has grown with time. As my skill in magic grows, does also my subconscious ability to cause chaos?
