The Parallel Clock
Look at the clock, it goes tick tock
And so does our hearts in that simple spot
The beat like a drum and I add the bass
A music so elaborate it cant be replaced

We move like seasons as quick as they go
The blood rush from feelings from head to toe
Its natural unlike something formed by wealth
The pirate had learned from the master of stealth

Tock tick tock tick the hands they move quick
They meet up like ours in a wrist of a flick
The world moves along our arches of skin
And they stay held together like welded tin

Stand alone in the wind it wont break your fall
But like a domino I catch with my all
We both lay against the tile of strife
But that will be our greatest way of life.
