I told her how I think school has the wrong idea. School idolizes intelligence... but that's wrong. Marie is honest and kind, and that alone makes her a better person than over half of the people in the advanced-placement classes. Just because someone is less intelligent than another person doesn't mean that they're destined to be a failure. I have faith in Marie that she'll do well in life and succeed. That she can be happy, being herself.
Humans complicate their lives too much... maybe that's what makes us so foolish. Yet, time passes by so quickly... just move with the flow of life, while still remaining happy and hopeful.
That's all that really matters in the end, right?
