Ice flows though her veins like blood flows through humans. And do to her untimely death in the snow and her resurrection from the kami, she is now in tuned with water and ice. Like an artist who controls ink on a page, so to dose Crystal controls the water around her. It’s as simple as breathing.
She can warm up, cool down, or even freeze the water around her. She can make it in to spikes of ice or any other weapon of choice. If she truly wanted she could even freeze the water in a body. She can do anything with water that she can imagine.
Do to the healing properties of water she is a master healer and can even remove taint from a person. But both cost a great deal of energy on her part.
Just because her control over the element seems to have to have no bounds doesn’t mean she has unlimited power. Like a human who bleeds to death, she too can die from the using too much energy to face. And like all people who are so intertwined with an element, her very clear weakness is fire.

Many years ago~
It was late in the winter and the snow was deep. Another blinding snowstorm had just made its way into the area. It was one of the worst winters that had been seen. A few bandits came to Crystals home for warmth and protection from the blistering cold winds. Juppen, her father recognized one of the mew and grabbed his daughter by the hand. Quickly he forced them both to flee into the storm without warning or explanations.
As it turned out one of the bandits had made a pact with a demon and was already killing the others in the home. Once he fished them off the demon bound bandit headed into the storm to the two that left.
It didn’t take like for Crystal or her father be become numb in the blizzard like conditions. Juppen didn’t feel Crystals hand slipping from his or her pleads to slow down. As the winds picked up her had finely left his and she landed face down in the snow. Too cold to move anymore and her lungs half frozen she just laid there and froze. As soon as Juppen realized what happened he turned around to look for his daughter. But waiting for him in the path was the bandit who made quick work of the freezing man and forgot about Crystal.
The elements themselves seemed to take pity in the girl as she laid face down in the slow. A water elemental came to her and gave her the gift of the element of water and ice. Crystal gasped as the magic took hold within her. Her once golden brown hair was now a whiteish blue, her skin was pale, and her hazel eyes now an aqua green. She wasn’t really dead but no longer human. The little water elemental explained that she was a spirit folk and will forever look the same. But she wasn’t immortal and could be killed and her new found life extinguished as easy as the last. So to honor the elemental and her father’s memory she lives the best she can.
