The Minecraft Experiment
My girlfriend wanted me to try Minecraft so I took on the challenge. I'm going to write my feelings about Minecraft starting from Day 1 and see how it goes. I will do this for 365 days to see how much I improve.
Day 44
A New Attraction!

Today, I built something very tricky yet very fun! I made a maze house. Technically, I made a house with 12 rooms, locked all the doors, hid the "keys", and decorated it! It looks so awesome! Each level is harder than the last! So, here's my story of the creation of the maze. So I was thinking about this maze a downloaded on Day 25. It was so cool that I want to make one as well! So I did! It started out easy. And then...I ran out of ideas. I was thinking so hard to make levels 8-12! Then, a catastrophe occurred. I was making Level 8. I decided to make platforms to jump on. When I was finished I came with a bright idea to make a lava floor. IN A WOODEN HOUSE. So while I was making it. I saw one block catch on fire. I thought it would be no big deal so I extinguished it. I turned around and I saw what no builder would even want to see. MY ENTIRE MAZE WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES! My natural instinct was to panic! Then, I started hitting the fire with my hand. That did almost nothing! So next I got out a water bucket and start throwing it on top of the fire! It worked! I had 8 levels then and only 4 out of the 8 were damaged! I fixed it easily cause most of what I had to fix was that my 3rd level entirely burned down! It only took me like 30 minutes. Then, I went back to Level 8. When I returned I seen something...odd. I swear the lava had made obsidian! I had made a Obsidian barrier before the catastrophe (what help that did me) but there were now blocks of Obsidian on the ground. Speaking of Obsidian, I used that to make my frame for the maze because before, the house did NOT look like a house!
So I used it and it worked pretty well. I'll have before and after pictures at the end! There are two advantages to doing that. One, it's blast resistance. Two, in the empty space monsters spawn in their so it sounds scary in there! It worked out really well! If you got any suggestions, please comment!
