Stories and junk.
Enjoy, if ya can. c:
Naoto finished hauling everything into his room, which was upstairs. He was panting, flopping onto his bed on the floor. “Mom! Did you get the water turned on yet?!” He called to his mother down stairs who was unpacking things. Lucky woman. She didn’t have to do a thing. Apparently, unpacking things and deciding where it goes is just as hard as moving them.
“Should be on!” His mother called back. Her name is Hana.
Naoto stood, walking out of his room and into the bathroom, testing the sink before trying to shower. It spurted at first, but then ran clean. He sighed in relief and start up the shower, undressing. Looking at himself right quickly in mirror, he saw the bruise on his stomach area still. Some kids in Korea beat him up a short time before moving to Japan. He ran his hand over it, flinching slightly and a small whimper escaped out of his mouth. His parents knew nothing about it. They knew nothing about his not having friends and being bullied. There was a reason for the bullying, though. Once again, something his parents didn’t know. He didn’t tell his parents in fear of them sending him to a therapist, or even worse, disowning him and throwing him out. He was only fifteen, but his parents were majorly religious.
Naoto exhaled deeply and took his mind off of it, getting into the shower and let the water drop onto him. He closed his eyes, lifting his head to the water. His eyes almost popped out when he opened them as his mother walked in. He turned, covering the bruise.
“Sorry, sorry. I just need to put these things up” His mother said, carrying a box.
“Next time, please knock.” Naoto said respectfully.
“Will do, sweetie. Thank you.” She said and left the room.

Naoto laid in his bed late at night, trying to sleep. He looked out the window beside his bed and saw his new next door neighbor waving to him. He sat up more, opening his window’s curtain more. He smiled and waved back. He watched as the boy wrote a note, pushing it against the glass.
It read “Come outside?”. Naoto smiled, nodded.
He made his way down the stairs, putting on a hoodie and slippers before, and went out the door to meet his neighbor. He walked across the lawn and met up with him at his house.
“Hey.” The boy said, sitting on his porch steps. “Sit.” He said, smiling. So, Naoto sat down and was quiet until it was time for introduction.
“I’m Yoshio. Nice to finally have a neighbor my age.” He chuckled softly.
“U-um..I’m Naoto. Nice to meet you, too.” Naoto blushed softly.
“Nice name.” Yoshio told him.

Naoto woke to the feeling of the sprinklers shooting water onto him. He had fell asleep last night while watching the stars after meeting Yoshio. He stood, walking onto the porch and into the house, soaking wet. His mother looked over, eyes a bit wide. She burst out in laughter.
“So, that’s what happened to you.” She said, calming down.
“Shut up.” Naoto said, sighing.
