I went to a Marilyn Manson concert and the staff running the show was horrible.
First I showed up to the wrong location and had to spend money to take a taxi to the right location to find the concert has been delayed since Manson was recovering from a flu. I went to a bar and met some tranny and we talked. After I went back to the right concert and the staff was horrible they wouldn't let me upfront stage and I had to fight saying I have VIP... which I didn't but somehow it convinced the security guard to let me go upfront.
Had an awesome time headbanging to the Butcher Babies then seeing Marilyn Manson play live was almost surreal.
After I got backstage to meet him in person but I was herded like cattle among many other people to see him get a picture and signed autograph.
I waited for hours to finally get to see him. My partner was ahead of me and got to see him first and had a good long chat and then I was next I felt like I was hurried so I kept it short and told him I heard a lot about him from my partner because my partner had done cocaine with him in the previous years and he laughed his a** off saying you mean that guy I was just talking to and I say yea hes my boyfriend.
He gave me a high five and told me I was a lucky guy to find someone like him and I said you have no idea.
He drew a huge p***s on my Manson book and then I shook his hand and walked out.
Its so bizarre reading his book and seeing that he went through the same thing I did in life being in a small s**t town full of bible belt rednecks and rebelling societies norm. I never thought I would leave my small town and end up meeting one of my idols. With my strong motivation and the help of my boyfriend it was made possible to escape my town into a bigger city and have so much more opportunities fall into my hands.
The best part of the concert most of all was I ended up going for free. I called back and complained on how horrible the staff was and that I didn't get to have my picture with Manson (not that I cared but it was part of the VIP treatment).
So they refunded me the cost I paid to go to the show except the VIP purchase which was already paid for as a gift from my common laws.
If Marilyn only knew what we had to go through to see him and got away with free s**t out of the deal 4 free T-shirts extra signature items and a large p***s drawn on my book by Manson himself he probably would be laughing his a** off.
