poem:
~Stitches~

Their soft velvet like touch caress my face
In they go, making a parallel trace
On my mouth, on my eyes, they're sealed
Now my sight and words will never be revealed
Stitches everywhere, leaving a dark bloody stain
I can't feel their piercing stings, I feel no pain
Lovely needles coursing through my vein
It's the only thing that keeps me sane
I feel their hollow gazes right on me
As they look, they'll see
I am not a monster, nor alive
I will stay here aside
I will not allow their comments affect these stitches
Pain is life, it's hell, it's like those sons of bitches
I realize as stitches are being traced on me
I will live forever, you'll see
