Bits and pieces of here and there with this and that.
Thoughts on Dragon Age (will be updated)

Before I get started, I should state that I'd been told thing that have now been addressed (correctly) that before I started my playthrough were incorrect... If you like you can skip past them, if not then just open the spoiler tag...

I'd be in a party, one that had no form of healing/healer from the begining of the game no matter what I start as...

For some of you this might seem as a 'duh, you start alone,' but when I specifically ask that and get told I'd be with one other person at all times and that no one is a healer through out the game and then learn (1/4th of the way through, possibly?) that Wynne can and is a healer (if you don't kill her) and that no, you do not have a party in the begining screwed up how I planed to play. Which brings me to my next frustration.

Being an Elf Mage, I was told that mages were 'meh' by the soicity and the Elves were once slaves...

Not to be hated for being a mage, and defiantly that Elves might as well be the scum of society... I learned these mainly from just playing the game... It doesn't bother me as much as what is previously mentioned, but they downplayed that greatly from what examples they gave.

That I can pick up all the quests in one area, get them done and then turn them in...

I have no dog, I wanted the dog, why..? Because I picked up that quest, along with all the other quests to go into the forest and when I came back I got a cut sceen that afterwards wouldn't let me get the herbs to the trainer for the dog... Yes, I am mifted about this...

I find the game to be, meh so far... In the beginning is slow, and the map-- or lack there of a map✲ (will get to this later) made the fade horrible... It was boring and the past mage there (or whatever he is, the mouse/bear turning into thing) is horrible as a party companion... I'd say things picked up when I became a Grey Warden... But then you have Jowen (sp?) who, I just hate... His personality is just awful and you'd swear that he'd been beaten as a child by both parents (or something equally as bad) before getting into the Circle of Magi... I'd say the best thing about this part is I told Ivring what was going on and told it to Jowen's face at the end before he poof'd and Lily was stuck and such...

Grey Wardens, pretty cool, still like Duncan the best... Now, Alistair on the other hand... I don't get why all my friends like him... He wines, and that is about it... Rather poor in battle too, switched him out for Sten when I got the chance... Morrigan (sp?) is badass, I love having her on my party... Lilianna (sp?) is really good too, really like it when she tells stories, only downside is that I keep forgetting to pickpocket people with her ^^;;; Sten is alright, a bit quite, and because of that I really can't make much of an opinion... Wynne, I like her alot, might be a bit biased because I like more support characters that heal/buff over all but I like she's pretty badass for an old lady...

✲ The map, or lack there of a map is more like it... Where is the N-S-E-W direction on it? Why does it move with me? Why!?!?! I could have drawn a better map, one where when I try to use it I don't end up in circles because it all looks the same... Also, if it shows me the direction I'm going, then why does the map move? I see no point in it, either give me a map that is a map or don't give me any map...

Dalish Elves, I love these guys~ Seriously, they need more stuff with them involved... The werewolf twist was interesting too... This is the best part (thus far, might change) I guess the question would be what I didn't like, and really I can't think of anything... Doing the quests for them were enjoyable as well, and I liked how everything seemed to fit in place (at least this run through)...

Redcliff, that was meh... Slow waves and night to fight against and the castle was alright... Jowen used blood magic and we used the child's mother to get rid of the demon... Really don't have much more to say on that...

Circle of Magi, it's oke... Not great, or as exciting... The Sloth Demon is boring as I'll get out... The transforming is cool and fun, but I tend to switch out of each form after getting through where I need to be... Not really usefully to stay in them to fight in, I do more damage playing as my mage...

I'm currently in Orzarmmar (will fix spelling later) and like it, it is rather unique and I kinda want to know more about the Dwarfs in general, like with the Elves... I like how they think you'll far into the sky xD
