Why is it still an issue?
That's the big question. What is there to decide about? It's not gay marriage. It's marriage. Two people who are in love, how is it different between a man and a woman? Can we really say America is free? Equal right doesn't mean equal rights for everyone but homosexuals. If that was the case then why doesn't America go back to the way it use to be, equal rights for everyone except women, blacks, and gays. That will make it equally unequal. White, straight men having all the power. It took a while for women to be able to vote, it took a while for blacks to be considered a whole person. It's only a matter of time and I know by the time I have grand kids I will be telling them there was a time when not everyone was equal but some really brave strong people fought for my rights and every other person who is gay, lesbian and who knows and cares about someone who is gay. Change is coming. It just taking a little while. One day everyone will truly be equal. emotion_bigheart
