It is on a particularly sunny day that Belius is sprawled across the couch, an empty bag of chips on top of his stomach as he stares at the ceiling. The sounds of something cooking in the kitchen reassure him that yes, Jack is still here and no, he's not planning on leaving any time soon.
Belius's mind is an absolute fog of black and the only thing that breaks him out is when Jack sets a plate down in front of him.
"Eat." The slightly older male orders, peering at Belius with an expression that manages to be rather menacing with the bangs that cover some of his face. Belius sits up with a bright grin, grabbing his fork with a bit of enthusiasm.
The two eat in silence, and Belius has to once more acknowledge Jack's talent with cooking; he's no good with appearances, but when it comes to taste his friend is a genius. Belius acknowledges it, but he doesn't appreciate it.
"Stop that." Jack snaps, making Belius glance up with a little startled expression. The younger boy tilts his head with a little confused smile, but the motion only makes Jack narrow his eyes in irritation.
"Stop what?" Belius asks innocently. Jack shoves a bit of chicken into his face, chewing it with the side of his mouth as he juts the fork in Belius's direction.
"You know what I'm talking about." Jack replies, voice muffled slightly through the chicken that he's still chewing. "Stop pretending. There is nobody here but me. You can melt out of that fake body."
The confused smile on Belius's face twists into a sharp grin at that answer, the sound of his jaw cracking as it spread unnaturally farah I got bored and don't want to finish this
