Davis Anime Con is this Saturday. It's the second one by the UC Davis Anime Club.
They got Wendee Lee as a guest of honor. Not bad for a small con by a university club. And it's the second one as last year was the first one.
Soul Sacrifice is out for the PlayStation Vita. Reserving let you download the Japanese voice option. I am not sure why that option was just not included in the first place? It's about 500 gigs in size. So far in Japan this game is not exactly doing Monster Hunter sales.
Black Rock Shooter came out for the PSP (and Vita) as a PSN download for $20.
I heard that the Symphony of the Goddess concerts for The Legend of Zelda will be returning to San Francisco June 10 and Los Angelas June 12.
It's May and Fanime Con will be Memorial Day weekend, as usual. I'm worried about this year. It does not seem as exciting as previous years. The guests of honor list seems sparse. No seiyuu have been announced. Only three industry guests from Japan. One American dub voice actor. I guess I'll look forward to the 7!! concert. Rumors that Clockwork Alchemy siphoned off resources and focus are floating around.
Looks like I got quoted in the gaming forums:
"Your consumption makes you a gamer.
The level of time and money you dedicate to gaming determines what kind of gamer you are.
Hardcore gamers are willing to dedicate more because it means more to them. They care more about gaming and what kind of gaming they do."
