Life Through My Eyes
I guess I'll be writing about memories I wouldn't want to forget. And maybe about random things that make me smile. I might put some poems and songs of mine on here too :]
"So far, so close." A short story/Poem by me
So far, so close

I didn't know it was love. It's the internet, It's not capable of love. At least that's what sociable people say. But this isn't about a girl who found love on the internet. It's about what happened after she found love on the internet.

I didn't think I was capable of falling in love with merely just the thought of someone. I found it crazy but it made me smile anyway. With just his words, I could tell that he was funny, down to earth and warmhearted.I didn't plan on falling in love, I just did. I was sociable, I had a social life. But the internet had something that kept making me log back in, him.

I wouldn't take myself as someone who was desperate for love. I didn't quite understand what love was until I met her. Sure it was just an online thing. People would say that you can't find love through technology but, I did. Judging by her choice of words, I could tell that she was funny, smart and understanding. I fell for her. the more we talked, the more I fell.

We'd talk for hours, never running out of things to say.

I always looked forward to talking to her, she was the highlight of my day.

We talked about random things, anything we could put ourselves to say.

She once talked about the house across hers, so dark, silhouettes could never be seen.

He once talked about the house across his, so bright, he loved the gleam.

He once talked about a father and son, the older one teaching his young how to drive.

She once saw a white car, for some reason it caught her eye.

We thought the other probably lived on the opposite side of the world so where we lived was never a subject to talk about. We could never hold each other's hand. We could never hear each other's laugh. We would never be able to cuddle on those rough nights, when our feet would go cold. But little did we know...

I lived in that dark gloomy house while she lived in the bright house across mine.

I've seen the father and son driving to the church I go to every morning while he saw the white car as he sat in the park killing time.

Who knew that two strangers could feel so far apart yet lived just across each other.
But that's love..
You don't know who you fall for,
You don't know where they might be.
In our case,
We'll wait till love decides for us to meet.

(Forgive me, I'm new at this. Feel free to correct me ^^)
