Snow sat outside later that night, her knees tucked up against her chest. she sighed as she thought about the day with Jace. He had finally remembered somethings about their past. She smiled softly as she looked up at the sky. "It's as clear here as it was back home..." She murmured. At that moment Jace walked up and looked at her from a standing position. "Mind if I sit here?" He asked. Snow smiled at him and shook her head "Go ahead." She said. Jace sat down and looked over at her as she stared at the stars. "Have you always liked the stars?" He asked her. she nodded "They've always amazed me, how there are so many, ya know?" He nodded "Yeah..." He said while still looking over at her. It was obvious he was entranced but she didn't even seem to notice as she continued. "I love flying at night even though its hard to see..I normally crash into a tree because I get distracted.." She told him. He laughed softly "You're clumsy too huh?" He asked. she blushes slightly in the dark "Yeah..I am..." She murmured. "You always ended up keeping me from getting too injured..even In that last battle...you sent me to the town hall to keep me safe, but Demon ended up getting a hold of me. he grabbed my shoulder and sent a weird energy into me, it ended up knocking me out on the ground. When I woke up, I couldn't sense you through our bond anymore." She said with a soft sigh. Jace smirked as Snow rambled on, enjoying listening to her. It amused him when she would turn and make a random comment about Yukki and how she had to live with her. "And that's basically what happened up till I re-met you." She finally ended. "Wow Snow..you have a motor mouth." Jace said with a smile. Snow scoffed at him and shook her head. "I know." She stated. Then she did something Jace wasn't expecting, she leaned over against his shoulder. He let her, not knowing how to pull away, but she was warm so he stayed. She continued to look up at the stars as she leaned against him, he just looked at her. He wanted to pull away yet he didn't. He slowly just slipped his arm around her waist, smirking as he saw the surprise in her eyes in the almost nonexistent light of the stars. He pulled her so she fit against his side and smiled as she relaxed. he didn't know why he was doing what he was doing, but he did know he didn't care.
At that moment, Demon walked out, proceeding to let out a small chuckle "Looks like the little bird found a 2nd bird." He commented, Causing Jace to duck his head and Snow to blush lightly "Shut up Demon and go find you a bat." Jace commented, not letting go of Snow for a moment. Snow continued to blush softly as Demon simply smirked "Well, ill just leave you two to it." He chuckled, leaving them outside as he walked back inside. now simply hid her face as Jace laughed softly "Thats Demon for you." He said softly, watching as Snow just nodded. He reached up and touched her blushing cheek "Calm down Snow, you'll melt your name with the heat off your face." He said with a soft laugh.
After sitting there for awhile she looked up at him, "Jace...I want to see your wings." She told him. "Alright." He murmured softly and stood, taking her hand to pull her up to her feet. Once she stood, he stepped so he had space and spread his soft feathery wings. Snow walked over and ran her fingers down his left wing, and stopped when she saw black feathers down at the bottom. "Jace....some of your wing isn't white anymore.." She murmured as she looked up at him. Jace nodded "I know...It happened when Demon...well I think it happened when Demon transfused demonic energy into me in order to keep me from dying..." He said quietly. Snow stood up straight and hugged him, and he reacted by slipping his arms around her. "Does it hurt any?" She asked innocently. He laughed softly and shook his head "No, it doesn't hurt. It actually makes me stronger." She nodded and looked up at him and smiled. He tilted his head "What's that look for?" She she her head and let go of him. "It's nothing." She replied with a grin. He raised an eyebrow and pulled her closer "Oh really?" He smirked looking down at her. She nodded and spun out of his arms, laughing softly. "Yes really." She smirked slightly. Then her eyes lit up. She spun a few times in the moonlight and stopped, giggling. He watched her, a smile on his face as he sat down in the grass, which was damp from the dew beginning to form on it. Snow plopped down in the grass next to him, just like when they were children. He looked over at her as she tucked her hair behind her ear, her eyes shining in the moonlight. "You're just like you were when we were kids Snow. At least from what I remember." He told her. she simply smiled at him and laid back in the grass. He simply watched her, shaking his head. He knew that after tonight, his life is probably going to change. Snow had gotten in, and something told him now that she was back, she wasn't going to leave without a fight. snow pulled him so he landed on his back in the damp grass and he chuckled softly, picking up a piece of grass and throwing it in her face, causing her to crinkle her nose and shake her head to get it off. She laughed softly as the grass floated off her face and she pushed Jace slightly. Jace grinned and turned to look back up at the stars in the sky as Snow got quieter, closing her eyes slowly.
