Freya Bronwen's Wrist-Mounted Device (WMD) has several functions that can be accessed by its owner at any time.

Main Features

Water-proof
The WMD is completely water-proof. Freya can go for a swim and shower without having to worry about damaging it. Not that she can swim...

Damage Resistant
The WMD is armor-plated with extremely durable alloys. It can deflect bullets and probably stop Freya's wrist from getting crushed under a steamroller.

Wi-Fi Connection
The WMD has complete access to the internet wherever there's even a trace of a signal. It also has counter-frequency measures to allow internet access in places where internet signals are jammed or censored.

Biometric Seals
Due to biometric seals, the WMD cannot be removed from Freya's wrist, even if she wants to. This naturally means that no one else can remove it, either. Even if someone cut off her hand to obtain it, it wouldn't work for them due to the registered owner's life signs being dead. However, someone can always fiddle with it while Freya is still alive and wearing it, so long as they have her permission.

Battery
The WMD has an immensely powerful battery. Though it does require recharging, it can successfully remain powered for up to ten years without requiring a recharge, though it does function better and process faster the more energy it has.

Major Applications

Internet Explorer
This app gives Freya free internet browsing capabilities whenever she wants.

Email
Seperate from the internet app, Freya can check and answer her email whenever she wants, even without an internet signal.

Texting
Freya can also text on it with a built-in holographic keyboard.

Phone
Freya can record an infinite record of phone numbers in her WMD and call them whenever she wants. However, they can call her whenever they want, too. The signal range is immense and very clear.

Video Call
With a built-in camera in the WMD, Freya can have video calls with anyone with a webcam or similar video option on their phone.

Radio
The WMD has a built-in radio that can get strong radio signals with an auto-tuner. It can also tap into unofficial radio signals, such as pirate broadcasts and ham radio signals, if she tinkers with the tuner manually.

Video Camera
Freya can record video with her WMD whenever she wants and store it for later. She can even stream it to others as she records or upload it to others after automatically saved. It even has other modes of recording, such as night-vision. Videos saved can be rewound, paused, and fast-forwarded freely.

Photo Camera
A similar function allows Freya to take pictures of whatever she points the built-in lens at. The pictures are of high quality, and even come in thermal imaging and night-vision modes, among others.

Audio Recorder
The WMD can be used to record sounds in the surrounding area. Useful for capturing incriminating evidence or recording meetings.

Notepad
The notepad app lets Freya write down whatever she wants to read later, such as reminders or ideas.

Calendar
The calendar app allows Freya to plan her day and check the date. It will even alert her to upcoming scheduled events.

GPS
A GPS and geomapper function allows Freya to check her whereabouts on map records or satelite images. She can even get a readout of the terrain.

Games
Th WMD has a full library of games that Freya can play whenever she gets bored. She's not a big gamer, though, so she really only has a few she plays regulary. These include Solitaire and Tetris.

Health Monitor
The biometrical seals aren't just to prevent theft. The WMD is completely synced with Freya's biometrical signals. It has a health monitor that can accurately tell her what part of her is injured or why she's not feeling well. It also has a full list of her medical history built-in, just in case there's an emergency and Freya can't tell anyone about her allergies or asthma.

Geiger Counter
One of the lesser-used functions of the WMD is a full Geiger counter that ticks in response to environmental radiation. Freya doesn't use it much, but technically, it's always on.

Substance Analyzer
A useful and innovative function of the WMD is to analyze substances by scanning them, giving a readout on their properties and components. This includes scanning for radioactive or poisonous elements in foods and drinks.

Minor Applications

Digital Watch
The Digital Watch app displays the current time in a digital read out.

Analog Watch
Same as the Digital Watch, but displays it in analog, with a hand for hours, minutes, and seconds.

Calculator
A simple calculator app. Freya isn't that good at math, so she uses it a lot. It's actually a very scientific calculator with lots of functions.

E-Z Tip Calculator
A much simpler calculator, used exclusively for calculating how much to pay when tipping at a restaurant.

Memo Pad
Like the Note Pad app, but works by using the touch screen. Can also be used for doodling.

Pedometer
Records the number of steps Freya takes. Technically, it's always on, but Freya rarely looks at it.

Counter
A simple counter for counting things one at a time. Just press the button, and it goes up by one. Freya doesn't use it much.

Marking Map
A mini-map that can be drawn on or marked using the touch screen. Though useful, Freya doesn't use it all that often, and sometimes forgets she has the app.

Alarm Clock
This app allows Freya to set her WMD to beep at a certain time every day. She sets it for whenever she needs to get up in the morning.

Kitchen Timer
A timer that counts down from whatever time Freya inputs. It dings when the counter reaches zero. Useful for baking.

Stopwatch
The opposite of the Kitchen Timer app. It counts up instead of down.

Coin Flip
A simple app that flips a virtual coin that lands on either heads or tails. Useful for deciding between one of two choices.

Roulette
Like the Coin Flip, but for multiple choices. Freya can just write what each slot is and set it for spin, stop, and reset.

Dot Artist
This app displays a touchscreen panel that can be drawn on mosaic style. Touching the same spot again turns the dot darker.

Color Changer
This app changes the readout color of the WMD. However, it's been broken and stuck on green for a long time. Freya doesn't mind, though, so she's in no hurry to get it fixed.
