Ok time for another large chain of entries. I suck at this. Anyways back from choir fest. So much happened on that trip and since then, I may be up all night typing but let's do this thing then!!! So this on this one I'll tell you about the disaster choir fest was. Well first the car ride up wasn't bad, but we were aloud to where normal clothes on the way up, but as soon as we got the the place, which was Mount Vernon Academy, we had to put on our school clothes again, which didn't make much sense to me at the time, but when we got there most everyone else was dressed like that too so it was ok. Next we were like the first group there, and as I watch people file in I noticed the only guys that were there were either 11 or gay (there would be more later on don't worry). So after we all got settled we went into mass rehearsal. This basically meant that we were separated into your voice groups (tenor, bass, alto, etc.) and all stood together on bleachers in front of a stage. Now this school is what I would either call "rundown" or "old-school. One the bell, unlike the annoying beeeeeeeeep at mine, was literally a bell. It sounded like a fire drill every time it went off. There were wires hanging down from the ceiling and the microphone started making this noise that sounded like an alien invasion. The bathrooms had doors missing on some of the stalls and three lockers in the locker room looked like they had been busted from the inside out. I was so glad we weren't sleeping in the dorms. The cafeteria was a separate building, but it was quite warm in there and there were two food lines instead of just one so it went much faster then our school back home. The food was actually pretty good too. There were a lot of nice trees and stuff out side, though it was freezing cold the entire time. I'll go more into what happens in certain parts in different entries.
