We are two potentially frightened, unloved children. We don't know the real meaning of love, our definitions are askew. Our child-selves are drawn to each other magnetically; perhaps because they know the same pain, or they knew each other in a different life, they cling to one another and they love each other deeply in their own special ways. Our adult selves come into conflict, why? Perhaps they are only trying to protect our child-selves, or our adult-selves are more wary and expect to be hurt so they don't trust. Love is complicated and extremely difficult; you can think of it as a disobedient, stubborn, bratty, hateful child; but despite all this you still treasure it and want it close.
