Blind Masquerade
She felt the stained glass of the once tall, majestic church
Forming a paved bridge of integrity to her soul.
A deceptive tale of her life
Darkness is her sanctuary
Reminiscing- her sanctuary
A rose petal in the mud
She only could remember the world she lives in
All hopes and dreams annihilated under the gray clouds
Children all fall down, one by one
You can hear their laughter, echoing in her forgotten mind.
Pinches of her memory remains before The Happening
The woman she loved
Admiration, long gone
Warmth, forgotten, unfelt, silent
Filling a hole in her chest.
She only knows to kill and kill
Blood shed
All she heard were screams
She winced
Filling her vision black
Now putrefied the once soothing air that everyone loved, the one you could enjoy on a hot summer day
Now gave her morality
A silhouette of beauty
Nightmarish paradise
Nightmares fueled her
Insanity became her
Her sanity
Black paint spattered across a white wall
A monster
Breaking from her chains
Who let her out?
She couldn't forget that boy
Where is he?
Lost in the fiery pits of Hell
Memories of tragedy
Closing every crevice of light and hope
Within an apocalyptic world
She kicked the ground
Her laced ball gown unscathed
Her long, silky pink hair untouched by time
Her carmine red eyes, glossy
The last thing her victim sees.
She wishes she was blind
Witnessing her lover's death
Peeked her madness
Civilized, a monstrosity
A moral disaster
What was his name?
She clenched her fists in frustration
Patience now dust in the clouds
The wind blew her
Telling her secrets
Filling her head
Making it pound
It felt good
She smiled
Her pupils dilated
That boy... Why did he release me?
She thought, anger surging in her demonic veins.
Adrenaline rushed
As she fell to the ground.
The last happy memory she could remember was with her lover...
And that boy who was so stupid
Got the best of him
Look what he's done
She was very kind to him, he brought her somewhat of light
I'll protect you~ she remembered saying to her lover and that boy which both of them, responding with a warm, stupid smile
My Blind Masquerade
Twirling and stepping on the dance floor.
She took the lives of those who didn't know the meaning....
Blind Masquerade
