Techniques - Jutsus
• Kihakugan - Soul Eye - E
An ability that allows Yui to look at someone and see their soul. Unlike her predecessors, this does not grant much, although she can identify someone by their soul, which can create complications due to the Chiyura's general abilities. It can, however, be beneficial as well, considering it could allow her to see if someone has a soul sealed inside of them...and who it belongs to.
After seeing a soul, that soul is linked with Yui's Fuujikomeru technique.
• Fuujikomeru - Containment - E
After a soul is linked with this technique, it essentially seals a copy of the soul into Yui's mind. Not a literal copy, but a fake. This disallows her from forgetting anything about the person, as information is automatically recorded as she obtains it.
• Mistukaru - To be Found - D
By concentrating on the copy of a soul via Fuujikomeru, it allows Yui to determine which direction a specific person is in. The stronger the feeling is, the closer the person.
• Satsu Omoi - Split Mind - D
Using mass-soul control, Yui has filled her own mind with countless amounts of souls. Their main job is to keep tabs on Fuujikomeru and Mistukaru, essentially allowing her to monitor everyone she has ever seen. She cannot constantly tell where people are using this, but the souls can tell her when someone she has seen before comes within 100 feet of her...and who it is.
With all these souls in her mind, over time, she has become slightly insane. Luckily for her, they haven't been in their that long. She is often seen talking to herself or other psychotic things. She has constantly been doing research into fuuinjutsu in hopes of being able to seal off these souls from her own, in a sense.
• Giin Kyuuin - Forged Seal of Absorption - D
This technique allows Yui to create a seal and placed it on an object, often a weapon. Once placed, the seal literally sinks into the object, becoming invisible to all. Even those that can see through objects would have a hard time seeing the seal, or at least making out what it is...but those that can see chakra through objects can tell when an object uses an ability (explained below).
This seal essentially absorbs a soul that Yui has captured via Specific-Soul Control, which requires her to kill the person. The object that technically absorbs the soul gains 8 jutsu points worth of techniques from the original host of the soul. When any of these abilities are used, the seal inside of the weapon resonates with chakra.
Given that these abilities can come from inanimate objects, such as a weapon, the abilities absorbed may be slightly altered to fit the new host's form. The soul may also affect the objects appearance slightly.
The grasp Yui has on the soul via Specific Soul control allows the use of the abilities...but her abilities related to Mass Soul Control allows her to manipulate the weapons through something similar to telekinesis.
• Hodokeru - To Come Apart - E
Using her ability to manipulate souls, Yui can cause a soul to split into multiple pieces. The main use for this is to mix and match abilities granted via Specific Soul Control, meaning with Giin Kyuuin, Yui can put a portion of someone's soul (and thus their techniques) in one object...and the other portion in another.
• Joumae Omoi - Locked Mind - C
A fuuinjutsu placed on Yui's mind. The seal essentially makes affecting her mind impossible, absorbing the chakra used. The seal then causes the chakra to disperse throughout Yui's body, hindering her ability to to use techniques. Whatever rank the technique used against her is, she becomes unable to use any technique of that rank and lower. (e.g. a B-ranked genjutsu used against her disallows her from using B-Ranked and lower techniques). This hindrance only lasts for one post.
This also creates a separation between her own mind and the souls trapped inside of it due to Fuujikomeru.
