Entry One- My Pregnancy part 1 - A Short Summary
I became pregnant in December of 2010, though I didn't know about it until early February of 2011. It didn't really impact my life until I started to show. At first I thought If I don't think about it, it'll go away. I had just turned seventeen, being pregnant was the last thing on my mind. I knew it would happen, though. Me and my fiance had sex a lot. More than we should have. I admit it was wrong, I should have been on birth control, but I felt embarrassed by the thought of birth control. After I had my baby, I struggled to stay in school, I wanted to be with him all day but I also wanted to be in school like a normal teenager. My baby's father and I were told multiple times by his family members that we should drop out and just get our GED. This made me mad. Family should be supportive. Family should help each other in times of need. Being told this made me strive harder to finish school and get my diploma, which I did. I may not have graduated with honors, but I could proudly say I was a high school graduate. After the summer, I started college and my boyfriend started school at the Technology Center. He went to school everyday from 7:45 AM to 2:20 PM where as I just had class a few hours every other day. It was difficult for me to go to school, because we only had one car. He would go to school during the day and I had classes at night. It went okay, for a little while. Eventually the car wouldn't run anymore. It seemed like every little thing would tear up on it. So he started to drive his grandmother's truck to school, But she wouldn't let me drive it at night. So I had no way of getting to school anymore, and eventually had to drop out. After my son turned one, I decided it was time to go back to school. I wanted a career change, something that wasn't going to take eight years to get a degree (which was taking me that long to get a degree as a veterinarian). I started going to the Technology Center with my boyfriend just yesterday. I don't have to worry about getting a ride everyday because I'll be riding to school with him. I don't have to worry about who will watch my son because he will be going to a daycare that is just down the street from our school. I hope he has fun and doesn't get hurt or is the one hurting someone.

---I hope you enjoyed reading my journal. In my next entry, My Pregnancy - Part 2, I will be writing about what all happened during my pregnancy. Look forward to it! emotion_smilies/icon_awesomeface.gifemotion_smilies/icon_yatta.gifemotion_smilies/icon_heart.gif
