You can have humans, you can have humanoids, you can have demons, angels, gods, etc. But there is always the oddballs. The ones that are more or less a blend of two or more. That's what brought about the Frost Bloodline. The Frost were humans that had an affinity to supernatural powers, eventually developing a basic power that ran in their family. Sure, there were those of the families that had other powers of their own. But they all shared one common power. Aura, and Pressure. Now, what do these random ramblings have to do with anything? Well, it's all for the sake of explanation, derp.
The main branch of the Frost Family consists of the bloodline of Kross J. Frost, husband of Selena Frost, brother to Markus Frost, father to Rehks and Rikke Frost. This is all well and good, but for the sake of understanding the key points of this family, one must first understand that is, in fact, a Family. There are no outsiders, there are no adopted children that gained the Frost power through learning, their power is hereditary. So, with that knowledge, here is the rest of the information on the Frost Family Bloodline.
The Frost Family Bloodline consists of primarily males holding most of the advanced powers, but the females carrying more of the power to control their abilities. The males undergo a series of changes when they turn 13 or hit puberty, whichever occurs sooner. They begin becoming more easily enraged, which is often common for hormonal males, but this is different. They become enraged to the point that their bodies actually start to accelerate their normal body functions beyond that of normal adrenaline.
They can move faster, react quicker, hit harder, take more damage, etc. But as they get older, they undergo more changes. Their eyes take on a hereditary condition called Heterochromia, they have two different colored irises. When the Heterochromia is complete, they begin their third stage of changes. They begin to release "vents" of what can only be called "aura" from the joints of their bodies. This means that from each joint, a stream of aura is being released like the relief valves of a pressurized machine. Along with this, they begin to exert massive amounts of pressure on the space around them. They can not yet harness this ability to the point that it becomes a weapon, it is merely for show, sort of like a visual display that they are enraged.
As they age further, around the age of 16 or 17, they begin to manipulate the pressurized aura into their hand to hand combat techniques. Meaning that if they throw a punch, that punch is backed by a wall of their aura pressure. Now, when they get even older, they begin to notice other changes, such as the markings of the Frost Bloodline, appearing on their bodies if they are of the main bloodline. This is characterized by what would appear to be Tattoos on their bodies as they enter an enraged state. This is only apparent in the main branch of the family, the family bloodline that goes directly from the descendants of the very first member of the Frost Family.
The females have more control over their powers than the males, but their abilities are not as strong nor as advanced. Simple advanced functions while enraged and minor pressure capabilities. But they have greater control over their enraged state, where their male counterparts have very limited control over themselves when they enter their enraged state. The males can unleash strikes of pressure that reach levels of PSF (Pounds per Square Foot) around 800-1200 PSF. The average skull fractures at 35 PSF. But only when fully enraged can a Frost male reach these levels of pressure, and it taxes their bodies tremendously. Tiring them out to the point that they pass out after only 20 minutes of exertion at this level.
This power, it is not pure aura, and it is not pure pressure control, it is a mixture of both. Though they are humans, the pressure does not crush them under their own exertion, due to the aura that vents from their joints acting like a barrier to disperse the pressure downwards towards the ground. Only a select few members of the Frost Bloodline have ever been known to be able to divert other things downwards through means of their aura. They could divert blades, energy, magic, etc. down into the ground and away from themselves without even moving a muscle. But that skill is long lost. No members have been able to recreate that power in 7 generations of the family.
