I am not your dream, but a terrible nightmare banished by your voice. I am not your love, but your bitter enemy, slain by your touch. You should fear me, as I fear the sun, not embrace me. You should run, as I do from warmth, not look at me with such loving eyes. Can you not smell the blood on my breath, see the blackness in my eyes? Yet I stand by your side, ready to fight for your cause. Bring on a thousand armies, and watch them fall. This isn't natural, A demon should not be loved by and angel. This is not sane, I should have killed you as soon as you noticed my existence. Yet here I stand, watching you live, from the safety of shadows, as you dance in the light.
