There are many different ideas, and topics that many people believe in. A few days ago an acquiescence of mine walked up to me and asked "What do you believe in?" That was their question "What do you believe in?" at first I did not how to respond to the question, maybe it was because I never really thought about it. I looked at hem and i asked "What do you mean by 'what do I believe in?' Are you asking me about my religion, is that what you mean?" and they said "No thats not what I mean." now at this point i was confused because when someone walks up to you and asks you "What do you believe in" you almost immediately start to think about religion. After that they then said to me "Think about it" ans they walked away. That night I started to look at the question "What do you believe in" i thought about for almost two hours repeating that same question over and over again. They day after that my acquiescence walked back up to me and asked me the same exact question. I was still unable to give an answer. Then that night I was watching the news and a tragic story was told and it was at lest twenty kindergarten, and first graders die because a man with a gun came into the school with a gun and fired. There were staff members that were killed too. After hearing that story my heart sank, and I started to hear the question in my head saying "What do you believe in" and it hit me. The first thing that I believe in is "No human Being should hurt another, unless necessary."
Now what do I mean by "Unless Necessary" you might say to me well what if someone somewhere does something really bad and they were sentenced the death penalty. Is that necessary, does that contradict with my first belief? I would probably say "Yes, I do think that the death penalty is unnecessary." Now some of you might not agree with me and my answer, and that's okay, but look at it like this. If someone somewhere were to kill five innocent people for no reason what so ever, then some of you might say that that person should get the death penalty, but killing that person will do nothing, killing the person that killed those five people will not bring them back. Now some of you might put up a fight about my reasoning and say well killing the person that killed those five innocent people would bring closure to the family members. After you say that I might ask you "True, but does seeing the man that killed those people die, does that really bring closure, or does it bring in a false sense of closure"
Let's Discuss It
There are many thing in life that I do not understand. There are thing in life that contradict with what i believe in and there are topics in life that I've always wanted to talk about but never really got the chance to talk about those topics. "Let
