I'm listening to some Acid Black Cherry and trying to avoid for a little while.

Mom is harder to deal with since Gram is here.
She talks super loud, for Gram I guess? since Gram can't hear. But then she never turns her volume down. ><' So everything from her is loud.
Her temper is even shorter with Gram around. You can't ask her to repeat anything. She doesn't want to, and if she repeats, it's louder and more biting.
Everything is more overwhelming for her. Her startle or gasp response is harsher, louder, augmented.

It sure makes leaving the house more pleasant of an idea - even if it's in a culture I've never lived in, around a language I don't speak much of, and I'll be 6000+ miles from home.
