Rereading it some months later, the last entry sounded somewhat aggressive. It wasn't meant that way.

I saw an unusual bird in the garden today.

There is a lot of snow still, but the rain has come tonight to wash it away.

We looked at fish in two shops today. We saw some especially interesting ones called knifefish. They were black, with tiny white tails and a white stripe down their face that reminded me a little of a cow. But their faces were really like eels' faces. They must be related to eels. I think we will buy some when we get our tank.
