Dakota looked out the window with a smile to find that it was sunny outside with little to no wind. It was going to be a great day, or so it seemed. He grabbed his bag and went over to the door, looking back one last time to see if his cat needed food or water. He saw that she didn't and nodded as he took note of it before he turned and walked out his front door.
He could very easily drive over to the house where he helped a blind kid walk to school every day but he much preferred walking and he loved the excersize. He did drive when it was cold or raining outside but for now it was good weather so he didnt' see the harm in walking.
He pulled out a water bottle from his bag and took a long drink of it as he made his way over to the house so that he could meet the other male before school. They would need some time to get there so Dakota had to wake up a few hours early every morning so he could take care of the house, his cat, himself, and the blind male that he helped. He didn't mind, really, it was just something he had to do.
It wasn't long before Dakota showed up at the house, maybe half an hour or so. He had put the rest of his water away for later and was now standing at the male's front door. He stood there for a moment or so before knocking loudly and waiting for the door to be answered.
When the door opened, Dakota grinned and nodded to the person who had answered. "Hello," he declared,"It's sunny out so I figured we would walk. Is this okay? If it's not I'll just be a little bit while I go get my car..." He shrugged and glanced back as if he thought somebody was watching them when in all reality he was just looking back the way he had come.
Dakota turned back to the male and tilted his head slightly to the side. "Do you need anything?" he asked,"I can help with pretty much anything you need it with." They would be excused if they were slightly late to class. He did have a good excuse, after all.
