Today was the worst. The absolute worst. There are really no words to describe how terrible today really was. Today was graduation day and I really, really should've expected it, but i'm an idiot sometimes. A real idiot.

After the ceremony was over and I was walking to my car to head off to the bar, I was approached by a girl. One single and tiny little girl with sleek black hair and a sheepish smile on her face. It was like she was waiting there by my car for a while, but I didn't really notice that then, so I gave her a cool smile and congratulated her. She took a few steps closer to me and, while holding her hands behind her back, looked down at the ground for a while.

I had no freaking idea what was about to happen, but I couldn't have guessed it if I tried. Out poured the words from her mouth and it felt like I was slapped across the face with a pillowcase full of bricks. She was probably, what? Eighteen? What the hell did she know about "love" anyways? And what the ******** was going on in her skull to make her think she loved me of all people!?

I was definitely freaked out at that point, you know? I tried to tell her she was crazy in the nicest way possible, but then she just started bawling and babbling on and on about how she just knew I was the one for her. I had the hardest time getting my keys to unlock the car door, but once it clicked, I made up some excuse and hopped in as fast as I could.
