I have searched and searched and the only thing I have found out is that all brands are bad?
I mean what the heck is that about?!
What do I buy then is what I want to know...
I was just talking to Charlie and she told me that her brother works on computers for the military and he has a ASUS or gateway or something like that.And she told me that her laptop is a gateway too.She's had it for 2 years and its working great.
But I just don't know what to buy...
I asked people on the forums and one told me any computer under $500 is gonna be s**t and I quote:
Arguing over which brand has better computers in the $500 range is like arguing if it's better to be eaten by a shark or a lion. Either way you're getting painfully ripped apart, digested, and shat out.
I just don't feel like buying one anymore. 
But if my friend thats 'computer technical smart' gets online some time soon then I might be able to find some sort of compromise/idea of what to buy.
