I went to work today - after eating a poptart and a half a piece of chicken (3oz? not sure). Breakfast and I don't agree. Haven't for over 7 years. I can eat some, but having to stuff in something lunchlike before 10:30am is hard. The shift is 11am to 3pm. It's non-stop. So I feed people, and don't take time to feed myself -- unless the food is something I'll eat. Today it wasn't. I couldn't even eat the dessert - it was pudding.
From about 1:45 to 3 I dish up the appetizers and desserts for dinner. Salad and canned mandarin oranges. (i'm practically morally opposed to canned fruits lol)
As I worked, I could feel my muscles tighten and tighten. And my stomach got more and more angry with me (empty = ouch).
So I ate a granola bar and drank coffee as I drove home, made ramen with veggies once getting home, then cooked dinner and ate that at 6. I'm full up.
That's my K shift days in a nutshell.
