Another day of school. Really sick of this... Anyway I read some thing about this boy, Seth Walsh. He died at 13. It's a really sad long story so to save time I'll sum it up:
There was a boy named Seth Walsh. He was being bullied at school because he was gay. He begun to hate himself and let all their mean comments get to him. I guess one day he couldn't take it any more and tried to commit suicide. His mum found him hanging from a tree in the back yard with a noose around his neck. He was still alive so she rushed him to the hospital.
Seth stayed on life support for around two weeks before passing away. In his room his mum found a note that said "Bully" on it with a red slash through it. At the funeral there was a lot of crying and his little brother, wearing a yellow shirt, Seth's favorite color, said that he was the best brother ever. Very touching moment, no very sad.
I've done this report on this subject because I can relate to Seth. I have friends and family that are "bi" and yes, "gay" as well. It really hurts me personally when I think that could have been one of my family members or friends that were in that position. I say this as a reminder: Be careful what you say to people and respect their choice. Just because they are "bi" doesn't mean you have to be but it doesn't give you the right to judge them.
I want to thank all my friends that read these journals I spend so much time on.
