I think I'm actually going to use this as my journal. not like anyone will actually look at it biggrin
So, this month has been kinda bittersweet. I've been out of work now for a month due to kidney stones, complications with them, surgery, and now, having a stent in me and lots of pain as my ureter keeps having spasms with the stent. Not being at work has been nice though as the stress was really wearing me out, and if I topped it with the pain, I really would have lost it.
I've gotten to game some, as it is one of the few things I can do sitting around while in pain ^^; It's been such a busy month for games o_o. Lots of empty pockets for people!
Erm, my kitty is being all cute as he knows I'm in pain. He curls up next to me and demands my attention. He can be my wing...cat anytime.
I have tried to draw a bit though it's hard to stay focused on the meds. the meds tend to make me act like an idiot and I call all my friends "bro" and staring at things gets all wobbly. I try to sleep with them and have weird dreams too ^^;
Yeah, I'm going in all directions with this o_o. Thanksgiving (for the US) is here Thursday and is my birthday also! It is a time to be thankful for many things. I am thankful for the most important person in my life, having a job with our economy (though it tires me out a lot), and thankful for my family. Hopefully by tomorrow night, I'll be thankful I have a stent out of me too. We take a lot of things for granted, so while we have some time off with the holiday, I think we should all reflect on what we have and tell someone or think about something that we're really darn thankful for. It makes life a little nicer to think of it too.
