I've left my partying days behind me (got sober) and now I just try to live honestly and be a good person. I do believe that sobriety is best but I'm realistic; it has to be a choice.

Oh, the stories I have to tell about some of my experiences! sweatdrop I've lived a lifetime in less than a decade. Partied myself dry and destroyed and rebuilt friendships only to step back and realise the emptiness of those friendships. The world I once lived in-- that world made up of gleaming glass bottles filled to the brink with liquid happiness; populated by slobbering, stammering men made suave through eyes covered by beer goggles-- no longer has a place for me in it and no longer will I try to fit in to a world that refuses to see any truth of themselves. I change but they stay the same. The same dishonest, hurtful people who can't understand why their lives are so terrible and yet refuse to do anything about it. They spew in their own contempt and then lash out at those who have done something.
I no longer want that.
I've left those friends behind. Mostly on Facebook 4laugh which is why you might hear me making less than pro-comments about FB. Hoping to find some interesting people with actual thoughts on issues. (With actual thoughts lol if you live in my town for a day, you'll understand sweatdrop ) Not looking for anything more than friendship though. I am very much taken. emotion_kirakira
