Last night was a real eye-opening class. I've been taking Managerial Communication with Ray Snyder. He's a real character. He told a story about how his teenage daughter went down a bad path because he, as a parent, made a misstep when it came to encouragement, and how encouragement is an important part for industrious employees.
It made me realize that if I don't do anything with my self-hate, I may as well not hate myself at all. So I need to do something with it.
