My photography class is probably my favorite so far this quarter. I have the same teacher I had for an art class in the winter and he's just one of those people who has a subtle sense of humor (honestly my favorite kind). He's also very helpful and truly wants you to succeed. The people in the class are entertaining. Well at least the ones who were in the lab tonight. Since I don't know anyone's names I'll attempt to come up with nicknames for them.
There's Clone, a girl about my age maybe a few years old, who has a personality almost spot on to a dear friend of mine. She was teasing me a little bit but it was the friendly sort. There's clone's friend, Fun Aunt. She gets the name because I honestly thought they were related and she's about 20 years our senior but she acts like someone in her 20s. Unexpected Dad: in his 30s and very nice and polite to people but also has a sense of humor. He gets his nickname because of a sweatshirt he was wearing: D.A.D.D. (Dads Against Daughters Dating). Chill Intermediate is an intermediate photography student who's very helpful and very chill, as opposed to this other intermediate girl who seems really uptight and thinks she's better than the beginning students. Cat Man seems alright. He's about my age and, like everyone afore mentioned, has a sense of humor. His entire roll was of his adorable cat and him, Clone, Chill and I were all bonding over cats and how him and Clone both want to be crazy cat owners. Cat Man would prefer to skip the marrying and just go straight into crazy status after he moves out of his parents house. Cat Man also helped me kill this huge beetle swimming in one of the chemical baths. I think he was surprised that I was the one that actually killed it and didn't freak out.
This was our 4th class and I feel like the group we had tonight is going to get along just fine. There were some unmentioned people in the lab as well... one of whom Clone informed me she didn't like very much. When I asked why she said it was just a feeling, a reaction. There's also someone else she mentioned she didn't like (this part I overheard), but never said her name, only a nickname mentioned to Fun Aunt. However I'm pretty sure it's Uptight Intermediate because Clone said that she was glad "that one girl [wasn't] here today."
I like Clone but I feel she's the type of person who's going to be very blunt with the people she doesn't like. Or somehow get into some sort of confrontation. I don't really now what it is but I guess I always find myself gravitating towards the controversial characters.
