I finished Leviathan Wakes and must say I really enjoyed it. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I'm glad to know that I can enjoy a good sci-fi book ^_^

After finishing LW, I read The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson. This is the second book in the Mistborn series. I can't really say anything about this book without giving spoilers for the first one, so I'll just say I thoroughly enjoyed it and will read the next one later this month.

I was super excited to get to read Biting Cold, the newest addition to the Chicagoland Vampire series by Chloe Neill. OMG! This book was FANTASTIC! There are somethings that are resolved and I can see the story turning in any number of directions that I am excited to get to read in the future. If you haven't yet read this series and you like urban fantasy, I recommend it.

For the Vaginal Fantasy Hangout, this month I'm reading Ill Wind by Rachel Caine. This is the first book in the Weather Warden series. I'm only a few pages into it but I can tell I'm going to enjoy it. I like Caine's writing in her Morganville series and LOVE that the Weather Warden series has all of that wit and humor, but in a more adult telling.

I also plan to read Assassin's Apprentice (Farseer Trilogy #1) by Robin Hobb this month since it's The Sword and Laser fantasy pick for August. I'm really looking forward to it. Robin Hobb has been highly recommended to me over the last few years.
