Fiesta Online: Dragon Tomb II

Another ignorant tank in Dragon Tomb (Lv. 80-90 instant dungeon), but was better than the previous tank. The II in the subject was to refer to another experience in DT with another tanker.

--------------------------------

Well today I got another nub fighter, but he wasn't as bad as the last one. He learned at least. The Dragon Tomb party consisted of 2 fighters, 2 mages and 1 cleric (me). Now we did pretty darn well.

When we got to the room near the boss room, someone swarmed the entire party with mobs. I'm like "wth!?". Someone did die (revived him/her) but I kept everyone alive surprisingly, but I took a huge amount of damage while healing all 4 people -.-; Make that 5 if you include me. It was pure chaos. It died out eventually and everyone was alive. Of course I've been in that situation on some occasion.

When we got to the boss room the mage was about to pull Corny (nickname for Cornelius), but luckily the main tanker told her not to pull him. Anyway, we took out the mobs first and then the main tanker starts tanking. When the main tanker got feared, the aggro automatically went to me. -.-; I was like "Dude (the 2nd tanker), hold the freaking aggro!" I was forced to heal myself and hold aggro (thanks to getting so much damage and spam healing myself) and I also had to heal the tank. Mobs started spawning and I was like "omg -.-;". Talk about a mess. Everyone but the mage died. -_-; I died 2nd or 3rd. The 2nd tanker didn't aggro consistenly while he was busy with Corny, and this was before the main tanker got feared. The main tanker told me in whisper that this was the 2nd tanker's fault (I totally agree; he didn't pick up the aggro when main tanker got feared). Those of us that respawned went back to the room.

We tried again the 2nd time and this time I noticed that the main tanker was talking to the 2nd tank. Main tanker scolded the 2nd tanker and told him how to tank and to know when to use Mock. Of course the main tanker was pretty ticked off. However, on the 2nd go it was much better. The 2nd tank improved his performance and only lost aggro once; however, he got aggro back when I ended up taking aggro. Everything else was smooth sailing and we succeed.
