The sun shone brightly through the windowpane. Its light entering the room in a translucent manner. It guided itself over to a bedroom where a blonde teenager, no older than sixteen was sleeping. Everything seemed at peace as he snored, tossed and turned in his comfy bed.
Only for his peaceful slumber to be ruined harshly.
"Naruto!" a female's shrill voice shouted. The voice was clearly coming from outside the door to the blonde man's apartment. The voice belonged to none other than Sakura Haruno.
Her fists banged on the door, in attempt to stir the blonde awake.
"I'm coming, Sakura-Chan!" Naruto shouted, hurrying to the door.
As he opened his apartment door, he met the familliar punch to the face. Staggering back from Sakura's brute force, he nonchalantly rubbed the newly forming bruise on his cheek.
"Ow Sakura-Chan, that hurt," he whined, looking at her with his deep blue eyes.
Sakura continued her fumming rage. She grabbed the blonde man by the collar of his shirt, bringing him closer to her. Naruto gulped as she held one of the most serious death glares she could muster.
"Naruto, I've been trying to get you up for five minutes! The village could have been destroyed in that amount of time!" she glared harder, and then suddenly let him go.
Naruto was dumbfounded. He looked into her emerald green eyes, before scratching the back of his neck.

Sakura's eyes softened and she smiled a bright smile.
"Well, Tsunade-Sama has some great news!" Sakura beamed, her previous mood seemed vanquished with her new positive expression.
Naruto looked at her curiously. What good news could that old lady have? His only guesses was a new jutsu on how to stay young, or Jiraiya was back in town, or information on where sasu-
At that thought, he paused. His best friend, Uchiha Sasuke had been kidnapped from his home one night three years ago. Naruto could vaguely remember Sakura explaining how she watched them carry their unconscious and exhausted teammate outside the village. She was even as daring as to fight them on, and ended up badly injured.
It was horrific as Neji, Kiba, Lee, and Neji chased after the captors. All of them beaten and near death.
However; the most horrific moment of his entire life was hearing Sasuke's earsplitting cry. A cry that left Naruto in shambled, deteriorated his hope, but at the same time, motivated him to rescue his best friend.
"You mean, its that kind of good news?" Naruto asked, and when he received and exuberant nod, his entire somber mood changed.
"Well all right! Let's head out there now!"
"You baka! Put some clothes on first!"
