Special Accessories: Nero has a special optical disorder where his eyes are EXTREMELY sensitive to light. In order to compensate for this, he wears a special cloth like material over his eyes that reduces the amount of light considerably. Despite the material's solid look, Nero is capable of seeing quite well through it while a normal person wouldn't be able to. This "blindfold" (as he calls it) is not needed at night as Nero's sense of sight is at its peak during that time.

Personal Skills: Due to his special eye condition, Nero's eyesight is exceptional when his eyes are covered by semi-transparent cloth or in the dark. Because he is "technically" blind, his other sense have gained a boost as well. However, they aren't as heightened as a completely blind person's would be.
Personality: Nero is a silent fellow. He prefers solitude rather than company with the exception of his childhood friend Ferox. Despite his quietness, Nero is extremely competitive. All of his life he was looked down upon for his disability, so he is hellbent on proving his worth to the world. This may not be seen on his naturally expressionless face (another type of disorder), but it can be seen through his harsh training exercises and his even crueler battling style.

Biography:
Nero grew up in a military family. His father had been very disappointment when he discovered that his only son was disabled. Because of this, he treated Nero much harsher than most father's would. He constantly pushed him to adapt to his disability, but it also inadvertently caused Nero to be cold towards others. That was until he met Ferox. The older girl constantly bugged and annoyed Nero until she finally broke down his wall by showing him how to actually have fun.
The two became close and eventually started to regard each other as siblings. Nero's father even considered Ferox as a part of their family; even going as far as to treat her like his only child. This pissed off both children and they vowed to leave him and his teachings behind one day. After volunteering for the pokemon center in their town, the two friends agreed that their goals will be to be the best pokemon trainers out there. Ferox left on her journey two years before Nero did, but now it is his turn to set out and despite his lack of emotion towards the action, he is definitely excited to start out.
