This is just a quick or supposed to be a quick journal entry of me venting and the main topic is respect. Something I feel like I get from my friends... here. But that's it.
At work I feel like my boss just pisses on me and the rest of the world. He's bluntly put it that of all the worker's who work for him, I'm the only one he doesn't take seriously. I was litterally hurt by that but not in the sense that I felt like I was being discriminated, no I was hurt by the fact that I put effort and work in everything I do when I'm at work, I try my hardest to do things and to be taken seriously but I'm told that I'm the only one who isn't taken seriously. I mean... Wow... thank you for treating me like trash.
With my new friends here in Brazil I can't get into a serious conversation without someone taking it lightly and making fun of or turning it into a joke. I mean: ******** off. I don't piss on your empty glass when your thirsty and asking for something, so why the hell do you do it to me. OH, but then I'm someone who isn't serious, who laughs and takes everything lightly. I'm someone who's carefree... Eff you all. They barely know me, and yet call me a friend. I've been here a Year but they barely know my full name. I'd like to see if any single one of them actually knows my favorite color. Oh and then the brasilian form of enjoying time or making friends involves being rude and crude to one another. I don't know, maybe I just don't feel like I can be a part of the group today and I've been shown once again how homesickness really feels.
That might be the reason beneath this vent, beneath the way I'm feeling. Maybe I am in all reality just feeling homesick and missing my friends. But damn. This just isn't fun at all.
