Blossom has settled down quite a bit, not mewing and searching for her sister as much.
She's also eating normally again.
I'm off to New Zealand in october!
First time out of Australia!!
First passport application...
Going to stay with a rellie in Aukland.
For a week.
And the biggest news - I'm going to have another neice or nephew!!!
Melody is due in november!
Adam is apprehensive - he will be a big brother at 14.
Oh well, he'll survive.
James is quietly happy - typical James.
I've just realized that James looks like one of the guys from "Flight of the conchords".
Brett that is.
Work is pretty boring at the mo - one of the CYS - Catrina - resigned earlier in the month.
My boss looked at me expectantly - are you going to apply?
But Dienie (or Susan) will have better luck.
I may go for D or S's job - full time - if they are successful.
Scary.
It will mean more storytime responsibilities - but not as much if I went for the CYS job!
Although... the CYS job would involve book buying... I could try to counterbalance the purchasing of crap girly books with more manga/graphic novels/boy oriented material.
I swear - most of our YF collection is supernatural romance fiction.
Ooooh vampires, werewolves and witches etc.
No wonder the majority of our YF readers are girls!!!
I am in charge of "managing" our own YF collection at work - I try to transfer out some of the girly books for other genre material, but it's pretty hard when there isn't a lot of choice to "nick" from another branch...
On the other hand, I think we have a pretty impressive graphic novel collection - JF and YF.
Am rather proud of that.
I read most of them...
