Left in the Rain
"Hey Addi, your still here?" One of her coworkers had asked her, her nodding a little. "Yeah, my ride hadn't come for me yet, but i'm sure it'll be here in no time." She told them. "Okay then, I hope you get home safely then." Addison, or as her modeling friend had called her Addi, was waiting for her roommate to come and pick her up from her modeling agency, but he/she had seemed to be running a little late. She didn't really want to depend of him/her, but today she had to, since it was a summer shoot and the weather outside was raining pretty hard, and showing no signs of stopping. She had brought an umbrella with her just in case, but she really hoped that she wouldn't have to use it.
Another hour had gone by and the building was starting to empty out, and Addison was mad now. 'Where the hell is he/she?!' She said to herself, seeing the manager approaching her now. "Addison? You don't usually stay this late. Did you need a ride home?" He offered, her thinking about it and was about to say yes, but shook her head. "N-no, i'm sure my roommate will be here in about a minute, thanks anyways." She told him, him nodding a little. "Well, get home safely then and i'll see you tomorrow." He told her, Addison waving as he had left.
One of the janitors had approached her after thirty minutes had passed by, Addison turning around. "Ma'am, the building is closed now, you'll have to leave." He told her. She let off a small sigh, nodding a little. "Okay, goodnight." She told him, headed to the door now, seeing that the rain was falling even harder. 'I'm going to kill him/her.' She said to herself, opening the umbrella and headed outside now. Her apartment was about a mile away, so that she knew that she would be in for quite a walk home, but she was fueled with anger.
The rain was cold, and the wind was blowing, which wasn't making this any better. Even with the umbrella, her clothes were getting soaked, her ignoring it and continuing to walk.
(You can be her roommate who comes to pick her up or who's at the apartment still.)
