El Océano y la Luna
Se dice que hace muchos años, había dioses para cada elemento del mundo. Leviatán era el dios de los océanos y era un gran dragón que vivía en el mar. Él era muy dedicado a su trabajo y una noche, mientras estaba nadando, escuchó una voz cantando. Era la voz más hermosa que había escuchado. Siguiendo la voz, encontró a una mujer bañándose en las aguas del mar. Él se quedo parado y la observó, transformándose en un hombre para que no fuera descubierto, y quedó hipnotizado por su belleza. Ella se viró y lo miró, estudiándolo. Se atemorizó y antes de que ella se escapara, él corrió detrás de ella y la cogió por el brazo izquierdo. Se miraron a los ojos y no se movían. Entonces, ella le sonrió y se hablaron entre sí toda la noche hasta que se despidieron y prometieron verse la próxima noche.
Desde ese encuentro, se encontraban cada noche en el mismo lugar. La doncella era en realidad Lunamei, la diosa de la luna. Cada noche que se encontraban, se conocían más y más hasta que terminaron enamorándose. Los demás dioses estuvieron felices por ellos, menos una diosa, que estaba celosa de la relación y decía que si ambos se casaban, iban a olvidarse de sus responsabilidades como dioses. Pero las palabras de la diosa fueron ignoradas, y la pareja terminó casándose con la bendición de los dioses.
Pocos meses después de casarse, Lunamei quedó embarazada con gemelos y la felicidad de la pareja creció, aunque no duraría por mucho tiempo. Después del nacimiento de los gemelos, la diosa que estaba en contra de la relación secuestró a Lunamei y nunca fue encontrada. Leviatán y sus hijos sufrieron mucho por su desaparición y él hizo lo que pudo para poder encontrarla sin éxito. Se rumora que cada vez que el mar se embravece durante una noche con luna llena, es Leviatán expresando su rencor y tristeza por la desaparición de su esposa.

It's been said that many years ago, there were gods for each element of the world.Leviathan was the god of the ocean and he was a great dragon that lived in the sea.He was very dedicated to his job and one night, while he was swimming, he heard a voice singing.It was the most beautiful voice he had ever heard.Following the voice, he found a woman bathing herself in the waters of the sea.He stood still and observed her, transforming himself into a man so that he wouldn't be discovered, and was hypnotized by her beauty.She turned around and looked, studying him.She was terrified and before she could escape, he ran behind her and grabbed her by her left arm.They looked at each others' eyes and didn't move.Then, she smiled at him and they talked with each other until they said farewell and promised to meet again the next night.
Since that encounter, they met every night at the same place.The maiden was actually Lunamé, the goddess of the moon.Every night they met, they knew more and more until they ended up falling in love.The other gods were happy for them, save for one goddess, who was envious of their relationship and said that if they got married, they would forget about their responsibilites as gods.But the goddess' words were ignored, and the couple ended up getting married with the gods' blessing.
A few months after they got married, Lunamé was pregnant with twins and the couple's happiness grew, although it wouldn't last very long.After the birth of the twins, the goddess that was against their relationship kidnapped Lunamé and she was never seen again.Leviathan and his children suffered very much because of her disappearance and he did all he could to find her without success.It's rumored that every time the sea becomes berzerk during a night with a full moon, it's Leviathan expressing his rage and sadness at the disappearance of his wife.
