Ian getting stabbed
Piper, Shawn, and Bridget are all at a restaurant for a nice dinner, waiting for Ian to meet them there since he had to run by the radio station to pick something up first. They wait a long time and Piper starts getting worried so she starts calling his phone over and over again. Shawn is completely calm, even joking around. He tells the girls not to worry because if Ian were in danger he would have felt something. Almost right after he's finished saying this he gets a call from the hospital. Ian was just admitted with excessive bleeding and six stab wounds. One in the arm, three in the stomach, and two in the chest. He was "mugged," an attempt on his life by Piper's former drug dealer, bent on revenge because he is the one who took his best client away AND he's close friends with the woman who exposed him and shut him down. Somehow he is alive and is being rushed into surgery. The doctors sew him and while the three rush to the hospital. Surgery goes well, but once he comes out he won't wake up. They say he's lost a lot of blood and they'll monitor him so to just wait and see what happens. Everyone is freaking out, especially Shawn. After the first day, Bridget manages to take Shawn, against his will, back to their apartment for so much needed sleep while Piper stays will Ian. Shawn falls asleep finally after hours of trying, only to jerk awake and sit straight up in bed, waking up Bridget as well. He wakes up sobbing and tells Bridget that he had a dream Ian had died without him there. Then he sobs into Bridget's arms how it was his fault and why hadn't he felt anything when Ian had been attacked. Meanwhile back at the hospital, Ian flatlined and was officially dead for ten seconds. Piper calls Bridget just as Shawn has gone back to sleep and tells her the news. Bridget decides that Ian is alright now so not to tell Shawn just yet but let him sleep.
