Well I just finished setting up one of my small fish tanks. Its been sitting empty for a while so I'm letting it cycle through some water for a bit before I do anything else. Tomorrow while I'm running errands I'm gonna snag up some cheap gravel and set it in there. I think I'll take a cutting from my big anubias plant in my 9gal and put it in the little tank. Its leaves are soft enough for a betta but this one's got such a funny root system that it would be great for microfish to hide in. The silly plant grew funny when it was in my mom's 75gal--looks like a mangrove tree!

The tank is 2.5gallons. I own two tanks like this and I've always been incredibly happy with them--the filter may be tiny but it packs a punch! This is the black one--I've had it the longest. The blue one is currently Thor's home. :]
I'm gonna check around my local fish stores and see what they have in the way of true microfish. If they have some truly tiny ones I'll get this thing set up for them. Otherwise it'll be waiting for a betta. xD;; Ooh! Or fiddler crabs!
