I perfer the peaceful solution, however somethings can't be solved through peace and then thats where violence comes in. I would be happy as long as peace was first atempted. Though some people choose Violence first and peace at the main office after violence.
A Certain someone who's name i shall not reveal considers me to be Whack for perfering peaceful solution.. xD I'm not ranting or complaining but hey which one of us is more likely of gettin shot in life? Well me if i coninute with what i do but hey. xD [ I love myself ]
Nah seriously though i rather go to sleep peacefully knowing i handle Fights in peaceful manner. Dodge, Persuade, Dodge persuade, Parry, persuade, punched in the face, Go gorilla on em.

I would Threaten people... I feel that it is peaceful way to stop. I would use it as a last resort. Usually work if the person actaully knows you. All my friends know i'm serious when i make threat. I don't make it sound very serious but i would do it anyway.
