I don't go to the regular conferences at my son's school because he's autistic and my mom and I go to his I.E.P. meetings. Tomorrow I'm going to my daughter's school for her conference and boy, will it ever be fun. They have a color code for kindergarteners at her school, green is good, yellow is okay and red is bad. Now in September she got all green on her calender, but the past few months she's gotten a few yellows. She just doesn't understand it's not always her turn to talk. I said to her "Anything you'd like to tell me before the conference?" She said "Nope!" Sometimes there's a note next to the yellow to explain what she did. Other days I don't know what she did that was bad and she says "I'm not telling you Mom! You'll just be mad!" Oh the fun I'm going to have tomorrow. So daughter dear, speak now or forever hold your peace. blaugh
