Octorus is an intelligent, collective, mild mannered man, who doesn't believe much for manners, but expects manners from people in return. He isn't exactly humble, nor is he outright arrogant. Instead, is the type to observe and convene only when he believes is necessary. He believes to keep a strict agenda on whose business to get into, as well does he expect them to do the same with his own.
He's also a bit old fashioned at times, playing out the old ways or keeping onto some old useful things.

+Biography::
Octorus was born into a wealthy family as a fragile child with a weak immune system. Because of this he was always kept indoors. Unlike his energetic and outgoing younger brother, Octorus spent most of his time recuperating at home, reading books and tinkering with his toys that preceded his latent talents. Despite his rudimental potential, he was looked down upon by his peers and earned his place as his town's black sheep. No matter how much his parents would outwardly dote on young Octorus, their true feelings only truly conveyed to their younger, potent son.
He grew apart from his family in some ways as he grew older. He thrived and thrived, building himself up and conquering the worst of his bed-ridden attacks. Once he was well enough, Octorus set out on a journey, traditional to most young men of his generation. He started out by apprenticing under various professors in many labs, towns, cities. He was in a way, a machine, stubbornly focusing on his goal and having no will to leave it incomplete.
Octorus chose an interesting place to spot his career. His fascination towards fossils left him unable to contain his inner most interests and ambition to flex them. His affinity with ground type pokemon also developed within this period in life as he landed an role into Archaeology, and found many fossils. He found them to be interesting; devoid but not without purpose. Sometimes lost but not incomplete, he held a special place for pokemon of their nature. Not long after he settled, Octorus started his debut as the new Gym leader.
