So I met up with Lily outside of the Library yesterday, she was returning books. It brightened my day. I told her about how I was having trouble relearning magic, especially certain types of magic. Lily volunteered to teach me elven magic, that sounded pretty cool. How was I supposed to use it though. She reassured me saying it was neutral magic. Anyway, after doing some meditating and whatnot, I managed to grow some moss, which was surprising in itself, but afterwards I was really sleepy and hungry.
Later, we were talking to Jynx and I accidentally let slip that I crashed my ship into the Great Hall... she wasn't happy about that. Apparently she was one of the people who were decorating the great hall prior to the big hole in the roof. I apologized a lot, even offered to do that sepoki, sepoka stomach stabby thing that humans do when they embarrass themselves. Lily wasn't too keen on that. Jynx wanted to play the "don't get stabbed to death" game with me, but she didn't seem to get the rules, she kept stabbing me from the shadows. Then Ezra started shadow jumping as well. Where are they learning this stuff? Jynx wasn't done with me. In retrospect she was really angry, but at the time it seemed like we were messing around, even if she was a bit rude.
She threw me into the lake, but instead of jumping in too she froze the lake over me. What the hell. That's when I knew something was the matter. It was really thick ice, I had to take off my glove and actually channel the heat into my arm to get out. This thinned the ice everywhere, and the Jadem siblings were walking on the ice right then, bad timing. they both fell in. I pulled Bella out and made a fire for her to warm up next to. Then I realized that Ezra was still under the ice. I swear if he had been studying shadow magic more diligently it wouldn't be a problem for him. So i had to melt the ice to get him out, he looked really cold. I have to say, not to smart on their parts to walk on that dangerous ice, but at the same time it was irresponsible of Jynx and Lily to leave while people were drowning.
I guess you can't win them all.
